To be honest, Aku was still unsure of if they should do something like this. It wasn’t like she actually did believe into stuff like this, magic and charms, and of course it could have just been a person who wanted to make themselves popular on the internet, thus posted this. This being a charm called “Sachiko Ever After”, which is supposed to let people who performed it stay together. But to think that she’d find something like this while casually browsing the internet, that was quite a coincidence.
The paper cutout of a person held in her right hand, her blond friend holding the other end, Aku turned her head to look at said friend. Both of them were going to graduate rather soon, so performing a charm to stay together might have been a smart thing to do, however, with Aku being Aku, her heart was fluttering like a bird trapped in a cage, because, what if they messed up and did something wrong? What would happen then?
"Annie, are you sure we should do this?"
"I don’t see why not."
There were multiple answers as to the ‘whys’ swirling around in her head. Honestly, if this were her older self the answer would be simple but this isn’t her older self. It’s her naive teen self. The young teen who cherishes her one and only friend, the young teen who does not want to ever drift nor be away from her best friend.
"If it’s to be with you forever than," Annie stops, fingers twitching if only for a moment, "let’s get it over with." The sooner the better.
